Web Sites I Enjoy Visitng

This part is a work in progress - addresses of other locations on the web that I have found useful:

The Classic Fly Rod Forum
is probably the best resource for anyone interested in cane or bamboo fishing rods and, to a certain extent, reels.  Here you can rub shoulders with rod makers and restorers, anglers and some of the best known contemporary writers and authorities on the subject.

The Antique Rod and Reel Library
is an extraordinary library of pictures contributed by the members of the tackle collecting community.  Confined mostly to American manufacturers, it's still a vlauble and fascinating resource for the identification of items.

Fishing For History
is the reason I decided to start my own Blog. I love this site and look forward to the regular daily updates. It's owner, Dr. Todd Larsen is a in my opinion, an immeasurably important  contributor to tackle collecting community.
